Trees With Yellow Flowers

Trees With Yellow Flowers

There are many landscaping trees with attractive yellow flowers. Some of these flowers are grown in bunches and some are not. Most of these flowers bloom in summer or late spring and they add great ornamental values into the garden. Some flowers are produced in late winter which indicates the start of spring season.

Cornelian cherry dogwood is tree species which bloom in winter days, adding extra color for your winter garden. They can bear delicious dark color fruits in summer days and they are great food for wild animals. The can grow as high as 8 meters and spread as the same distance as the height. They have a round canopy which adds extra landscape for a summer garden. It prefers well-drained soil and its red foliage in autumn form another view for the backyard.

Golden medallion trees like to grow in well-drained soil and under full sunlight. They can produce a cluster of attractive yellow flowers in summer. Unlike most yellow blossom trees which produces fruits after flowers. Golden medallion is a member of the bean family and its product in autumn is some long pod beans. These beans are not edible because there is toxin inside. They do not like cold climates and cold weather will weaken their health.

Unlike the above two tree species which produce flower in clusters, tulip poplar tree’s flower is a six-star shaped yellow blossom. The flowers will appear in spring and summer and they look like tulips. They are usually located in the top of the tree and are hard to be observed.
