Shrubs are common landscaping plants in hundreds of gardens, and many of them can produce delicious berry plants and attractive colorful blossom in spring and summer. Some evergreen bush plants can provide the all-year-long green colors for your backyard as well. Among these flowering shrub plants, some can grow beautiful purple flowers in your garden which can satisfy the color scheme for your garden if required.

Coralberry is a common family shrub variety which can produce blossoms with multiple colors. It is a deciduous shrub which can grow around 5 feet in height when fully grown. They have beautiful white blossoms in spring and produce purple berry fruits in harvesting season. Honeysuckle is another type of shrub plants which can produce purple berries in autumn as well. They can grow no more than 6 feet in height with a similar spread. The beautiful blossom can attract insects and birds to come to your garden in summer and they delicious fruits can also feed many wild animals in autumn. They all prefer well-drained soil conditions with adequate sunlight during the daytime.

Apart from the above varieties, another famous shrub family bearing color berries is the rose shrubs. The running serviceberry is a member of this family which can grow up to 5 feet high. The fragrant white flowers is a great feature of this plant in summer. The green foliage will turn into brown in autumn gradually, bringing an attractive color for your autumn garden. Indian plum is another larger rose shrub plant which can reach more than 15 feet in height. They are famous for their clusters of white flowers in spring and the purple fruits in autumn which can be great food for wild animals. Like other shrubs, these rose shrubs also prefer well-drained soil conditions to survive as well.
