Golden ash tree is a fast-growing deciduous landscaping tree which is renowned for the golden colours of their foliage in autumn. It is one of the best ornamental tree species for gardening purposes because of their beautiful foliage. They can provide dense shade for your house during hot summer days, and the winter sunlight will pass their branches to warm your house in cold winter without being blocked by leaves. Actually, some pruning work should be performed in winder days when they are in their dormant period.

They can tolerate a variety soil conditions although they prefer to grow in well-drained soil environment. They can also be happily growing under most climates and can effectively resist most tree diseases. They can usually grow up to 30 feet in height with a 15 feet spread. They will produce some special winged seeds in autumn for propagation. Generally, they will bloom in spring which is a good choice to decorate your spring garden. During growth, they need very little maintenance and you just need to spend some time on the pruning work in winter. They can tolerate drought conditions well and you can think about planting them if your house is located in zones lack of water.

Although golden ash trees do not need too much attention once their root systems have established. You still can do some work to make them grow happier. In dry seasons, you should frequently water your trees to keep them fresh. Some mulching materials can be applied to help keep the moisture. Some gardeners will use the wood of golden ash as fireworks or BBQ.
